YEREVAN, March 4./ARKA/.President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan will pay an official visit to Moscow on March 12, Konstantin Zatulin, Director of the Institute of CIS Countries, said Monday at Yerevan-Moscow video conference.
The agenda topic was “Russian-Armenian dialogue: political and humanitarian scope,” Novosti-Armenia reported.
“On March 12, Sargsyan will arrive in Moscow. It will be his first official visit before he swears in, before his inauguration (April 9). As far as I know the visit agenda is full and it is not going to be some protocol visit,” Zatulin said.
According to the final results of the elections, Armenia’s incumbent president Serzh Sargsyan won re-election Monday with 861,378 votes or 58.64%. Raffi Hovannisian, Heritage party leader, stayed behind with 36.74% of vote. -0-
