Armenia will become a political and economic center, Armenian President Armen Sarkissian said Thursday at Eurasian Media Forum in Almaty which is titled “Globalization: New Global Landscape.”
ALMATY, May 23. /ARKA/. Armenia will become a political and economic center, Armenian President Armen Sarkissian said Thursday at Eurasian Media Forum in Almaty which is titled “Globalization: New Global Landscape.”
“We are developing fast using advanced technologies and understanding both the West and the East,” he said. “Armenia is a small country, but a global nation.”
Earlier, Sarkissian said that Armenia can become an international financial center. He said Armenia, as a member of the Eurasian Economic Union, has close ties with the European Union and can play a role of a bridge.
Armen Sarkissian is one of the co-founders of the Eurasian Media Forum in Kazakhstan, which is in its 15th year now. It gathers more than 600 delegates from 60 countries every year. There are politicians, economists, Nobel Prize winners, businessmen and experts among them. -0---
