YEREVAN, March 31. /ARKA/. Armenian and Azerbaijani foreign ministers Edward Nalbandyan and Elmar Mamediarov are expected to meet on Karabakh peace process in Moscow in April, says the statement by Co-Chairs of OSCE Minsk Group.
The meeting will be held as part of preparations for the upcoming meeting of the two countries’ presidents, according to the report.
The document says the Co-Chairs Igor Popov (Russia), Jacques Faure (France) and James Warlick (USA) had separate meetings with the presidents Serzh Sargsyan and Ilham Aliev in Hague on March 23-24.
The Co-Chairs informed the presidents about recent efforts made with the foreign ministers following the last high-level meeting in Vienna in November.
Popov, Faure and Warlick stressed the necessity to avoid violence at the border and urged the sides to refrain from instigating statements that may escalate the tensions in the region, says the document as quoted by Novosti-Armenia referring to RIA Novosti. –0--
