Armenian governing institutions to provide for commercial attachés at their own account - premier
YEREVAN, March 17. /ARKA/. Armenian governing institutions will pay to commercial attachés at their own account.
The decision was made Thursday at a regular Cabinet meeting.
Speaking at the meeting, Suren Karayan, economic development and investments minister, the government has amended one of its previous decisions to simplify spending approval procedures related to maintenance of commercial and customs attachés and the permanent representative of Armenia in the World Trade Organization.
In his words, this decision is aimed at optimization of state administration system and it implies the handover of powers to heads of appropriate organizations.
If government organizations want to have representatives abroad, he said, they have to do it at their own expense.
Karayan said that this will be made as part of the reforms aimed at improvement of government agencies’ activities. --0---
