Armenian parliament speaker to receive Bundestag President
YEREVAN, March 4. /ARKA/. German Bundestag President Norbert Lammert arrives in Yerevan tomorrow for a three-day official visit at the invitation of his Armenian counterpart, Hovik Abrahamyan, Armenian National Assembly’s press office reports.
According to the press release, Lammert will meet with Abrahamyan in Yerevan. He is also set to meet with Garegin II, Armenian Apostolic Church leader, Edward Nalbandyan, Armenian foreign affairs minister, as part of his visit to Armenia.
The German delegation will meet with Armenian lawmakers.
Lammert will speak at the Yerevan State University’s Center for European Studies.
He will visit Tsitsernakaberd, the monument built to commemorate victims of the Armenian genocide committed by Ottomans. -0-
