Armenian police asks for early notification of voter meeting time and venue

YEREVAN, January 22. /ARKA/. Armenian police made a statement urging members of election campaign headquarters and representatives of presidential candidates to notify them of the date, the timing and the venue of their meetings with voters.

The notification should be made to ensure the public order and the peace during election campaign.

The respective hotline numbers for notification are 010-54-69-12, 010-54-46-48, and 010-52-65-70, according to the report.

Armenian presidential elections will be held in Armenia on February 18. 

Eight nominees are running for Armenia’s president: current president Serzh Sargsyan, former prime minister and leader of Freedom party Hrant Bagratyan, former foreign minister and head of Heritage party Raffi Hovhannisyan, famous Soviet dissident and leader of National Self-Determination party Paruyr Hayrikyan, ex foreign minister of Karabakh Arman Melikyan, political scientist and head of Radio Hay Andrias Ghukasyan, philologist Vardan Sedrakyan and leader of National Consent party Aram Harutinyan. –0--
