Armenian president to visit Moscow

YEREVAN, November 14. /ARKA/. Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan will leave for Moscow Wednesday on a working visit at the invitation of his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, Sargsyan’s press service reported today. 

It said the two presidents will discuss a set of issues related to further strengthening and development of bilateral relations. The presidents will also discuss cooperation within the Eurasian Economic Union and current regional problems.

Sargsyan and Putin will take part in the official opening ceremony of the "Days of Armenian Culture in Russia" dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and Russia and the 20th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty on Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance.

Sargsyan will also visit the Russian and Novo-Nakhichevan Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church and the Cathedral of the Holy Transfiguration, where he will see the exhibition "The Biblical Country of Armenia", opened in the framework of the "Days of Armenian Culture in Russia", dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the Diocese. -0-
