Artsakh president: Azerbaijan has already lost in this war

YEREVAN, October 6. /ARKA/. Artsakh summarizes another day of military aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan with stable success at the forefront, Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan reports on his Facebook page.

"The Defense Army brilliantly fulfilled the combat mission assigned to it, and at the moment it is also successfully opposing all enemy encroachments both in the air and on land, inflicting tangible losses in military equipment and manpower. Perhaps this was the reason that the terrorist army Azerbaijan fired over a hundred missiles from the Smerch installation in the direction of Stepanakert, but, fortunately, there were no major losses," he said.

Harutyunyan noted that today he was informed that during these few days the donations of the Armenians of the Diaspora have already reached 50 million euros. The President expressed gratitude to everyone for their support and urged to continue fundraising, since after the war and, most importantly, the expected victory, the ruins must be quickly restored and the improvement of Artsakh, which embodies the pride of all Armenians, must be continued. And this, he said, should be our collective response to the world.

"This should be our collective response to the world. Our national unity proves once again that Azerbaijan has already lost in this war. Victory is ours, and let no one doubt it," Harutyunyan concluded.

War in Artsakh

Intense fighting continues in the south, southeast and north of the front line. Turkey joined the aggression. Residential areas are being shelled as well.

The Azerbaijani side suffered losses in manpower (more than 3,154 people killed and around 5,000 wounded) and equipment, in particular, 220 UAVs, 3 units of TOS – 1A, 4 Smerch and Uragan MLRS, more than 368 tanks and other armored vehicles, 14 helicopters and 17 aircraft. According to the data of the defense ministry of Armenia and Artsakh, more than 220 Armenian servicemen were killed and hundreds wounded on the Armenian side. Also 21 civilians were killed and 82 wounded on the Armenian side.

Armenia informed the international community, including the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs, about the aggression by Azerbaijan against Artsakh, also about the shelling of peaceful settlements.
