Coronavirus incidence in Armenia drops below 1,000 cases in one week - Ministry of Health

Armenian health authorities recorded 910 new cases of coronavirus from September 26 to October 2, down from 1,431 cases recorded a week earlier, the Ministry of Health reported.
YEREVAN, October 3. /ARKA/. Armenian health authorities recorded 910 new cases of coronavirus from September 26 to October 2, down from 1,431 cases recorded a week earlier, the Ministry of Health reported.
It said during the reporting week, eight people died from Covid-19 (4 people died during the previous week).
According to the Ministry, 4,850 PCR tests were performed between September 26 and October 2 with 1,368 infected people having recovered. As many as 1,684 Covid-19 infected people are still undergoing treatment, it said.
During the whole period of the pandemic 443,785 cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in Armenia and 431,560 of the infected people recovered. The death toll from the infection is now 8,691 people. -0-
