EU not to initial association agreement with Armenia
YEREVAN, September 9. /ARKA/. The European Union is not going to initial the agreement of association and free trade area with Armenia, press secretary to EU commissionaire on enlargement and European neighborhood policy Peter Stano said in his interview to the Armenian service of Radio Liberty.
He said the documents are not compatible with Russia-initiated customs union membership.
The signing of the association agreement between the EU and Armenia may take place on November 28-29 during the Eastern partnership summit in Vilnius.
Tuesday, after the meeting of Russian and Armenian presidents Vladimir Putin and Serzh Sargsyan, a statement was made saying Armenia intends to access the customs union. –0--
