YEREVAN, April 28. /ARKA/. Armenia’s president Serzh Sargsyan appointed Gagik Khachatryan to the post of minister of finance Saturday, having relieved him as head of State Revenue Committee, the presidential press office reported.
Minister of territorial administration Armen Gevorgyan, minister of education and science Armen Ashotyan and minister of labor and social affairs Artem Asatryan have been reappointed, according to the report.
Earlier executive director of Izmirlyan medical research center Armen Muradyan was appointed as minister of healthcare, head of Committee on Architecture Narek Sargsyan as minister of urban planning, Karen Chshmarityan as minister of economy and David Harutiunyan as minister-head of government staff.
Ministerial posts were maintained by minister of diaspora Hranush Hakobyan, minister of transport and communication Gagik Beglaryan, minister of culture Hasmik Poghosyan, head of emergencies Armen Yeritsyan, minister of defense Seyran Ohanyan and foreign minister Edward Nalbandyan.
On April 13 Armenia’s president 13 Serzh Sargsyan appointed speaker Hovik Abrahamyan to the post of the premier to replace Tigran Sargsyan who resigned on April 3.
According to the constitution, the new cabinet is formed within twenty days after premier’s appointment. –0—
