YEREVAN, October 8. /ARKA/. Armenian President Armen Sarissian, at the request of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, dismissed Thursday Argishti Kyaramyan as head of the National Security Service. The appropriate decree is available on the website of the head of state.

By another decree, Mikael Hambardzumyan is appointed as acting head of the National Security Service.
No reasons are mentioned.

Colonel Argishti Kyaramyan was appointed as the head of the service by the president’s decree on June 8, 2020. -0-
