Minister of territorial administration reappointed as vice-premier in Armenia

YEREVAN, April 28. /ARKA/. Armenia’s minister of territorial administration Armen Gevorgyan has been reappointed as vice-premier, the government press office reported. The president signed the respective decree on Sunday.

Armen Gevorgyan was born in 1973. Graduated from Orenburg State Pedagogical Institute and St-Petersburg Institute of Public Service. Obtained master’s degree in Twente (Netherlands) and completed a post-graduate course at the Russian State Pedagogical University after Hertsen (St-Petersburg).

Armen Gevorgyan headed the president’s staff in 2006-2008 and was secretary of Armenia’s National Security Council in 2007-2008. Has been vice-premier and minister of territorial administration since April 21, 2008. –0--
