YEREVAN, April 25. /ARKA/. No document on Artsakh's (Nagorno-Karabakh) status is being discussed at this stage, Artsakh president Arayik Harutyunyan told a government meeting today.

He said there is a specific agreement with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan that in case of any discussion at the international level on Artsakh's future status, the position of the Armenian side must be coordinated with the Artsakh authorities and its people.

According to Harutyunyan, after the 2020 war there is an increased need for closer ties between the governments in Armenia and Artsakh and a more effective cooperation with Armenia's partner agencies.

Earlier, speaking in parliament, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that the international community had urged Armenia to lower the bar on the Nagorno-Karabakh status issue because otherwise it would not be able to help the Armenian side. Pashinyan's remarks triggered a strong wave of criticism both in Armenia and Artsakh.-0
