Pashinyan appoints ex-education minister as his chief adviser

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has appointed Arayik Harutyunyan, former minister of education, science, culture and sports, as his chief adviser. The text of the corresponding decree is posted on the government’s website (e-gov.am).

YEREVAN, November 25. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has appointed Arayik Harutyunyan, former minister of education, science, culture and sports, as his chief adviser. The text of the corresponding decree is posted on the government’s website (e-gov.am).

Arayik Harutyunyan was appointed as minister of education and science of Armenia on May 11, 2018, and from June 1 of the same year he was reappointed to this position after the department was renamed the ministry of education, science, culture and sports.

The decree on the release of Harutyunyan from his ministerial position was signed on November 23 by Armen Sarkissian, Armenian president. According to another presidential decree, Vahram Dumanyan became the new education minister. --0--
