President: Armenia interested in stable and long development of its relations with Germany
YEREVAN, March 6. /ARKA/. Armenia is interested in stable and long development of its relations with Germany, Armenian President Serzh Sargsayn said today as met with German Bundestag President Norbert Lammert, who came to Armenia for an official visit.
The Armenian presidential press office reports that Sargsyan, stressing the importance of such high-level visits, said they strengthen cooperation between the two countries’ parliaments and relations between the two nations.
Lammert congratulated the Armenian president on his reelection and wished him success.
He stressed that traditionally friendly relations between Germany and Armenia lay favorable ground for deepening cooperation between the countries’ lawmakers.
He called his meetings in the Armenian National Assembly effective. -0-
