The federal law about special economic measures was passed by Russian Duma, approved by the Federation Council and signed by the president back in December 2006. The law envisages temporary special measures in case of international emergencies to retaliate to illegitimate or unfriendly actions by a foreign state that endanger Russian Federation’s interests and security. –0--
