YEREVAN, March 6. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian and President of German Bundestag Norbert Lammert met Wednesday in Yerevan, Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported to ARKA today.
The officials expressed satisfaction with the level of bilateral relations.
The sides particularly highlighted high level of political dialogue, economic cooperation, scientific, educational and cultural exchanges. An active parliamentary collaboration was identified as a key tool for boosting the bilateral ties.
Armenia and Germany also discussed prospects for further talks within “Eastern Partnership.”
Nalbandian presented the efforts of Armenia and the international community to find a peaceful settlement to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Lammert highly commended the role of the Armenian peacekeepers within ISAF in Afghanistan. -0-
