Food safety service reveals foods not meeting microbiological parameters criteria

YEREVAN, September 27. / ARKA /. The Food Safety Service of Armenian Ministry of Agriculture said today it had examined a string of foods and revealed that some of them do not meet the microbiological parameters set by the government of Armenia.

Specifically, the checks revealed that the spread "Vitanov" (150-gram pack), produced by LLC "Tamara and Ani" and glazed cheese produced by "Dustr Mariana" do not conform to microbiological criteria indicators set by the government in 2006.

The Food Safety Service revealed also that a batch of eggs produced by Yerevan Poultry Farm on September 15 do not meet the shell purity, albumen and yolk quality parameters, which can also cause deviations from microbiological parameters.

The Food Safety Service called on citizens to refrain from buying the above mentioned products until these defects are eliminated. -0-
