All highways in Armenia remain hardly passable-Emergency Situations Ministry

As of 10 a.m. January 11, all highways in Armenia are hardly passable, according to the Emergency Situations Ministry.
YEREVAN, January 11. /ARKA/. As of 10 a.m. January 11, all highways in Armenia are hardly passable, according to the Emergency Situations Ministry.
Due to snow the following highways are closed: Selim mountain pass, Amasia-Ashotsk-Gyumri, Berd-Chambarak, Verin Getashen-Madina, Aragyugh-Buzhakan, and regional highways in Shirak, Tavush, Lori and Aragatsotn provinces.
Snow removal works are being carried out.
Georgian officials said Stepantsminda-Lars road is still closed.
“Emergency Situations Ministry of Armenia recommends the drivers to avoid these highways,” according to the source. -0-
