Armenia’s government suggests offering social benefits to experienced investigators

YEREVAN, February 28. /ARKA/. Experienced staff of the judiciary should get social benefits, Armenia’s minister of justice Hrayr Tovmasyan said in presenting the bill about public service within the investigative committee of Armenia in the parliament.

Social guarantees shall be set for investigators, particularly benefits depending on grade, the minister said. This will help retain the experienced ones with length of service of 15 years and more, Tovmasyan said.

Member of parliament from Heritage opposition party Tevan Poghosyan, in his turn, said similar social support should be provided also to teachers, doctors and other specialists. –0—
