Armenia’s minister suggested environmental activists discussing key issues

YEREVAN, March 31. /ARKA/. Armenia’s premier Tigran Sargsyan met with ecologists Friday and suggested them making a list of important environmental issues to be discussed in a dialogue between the government and NGOs, the press office of Armenian government reported.

On March 25 environmental activists held a protest against “Responsible mining in Armenia – challenges and opportunities” in Yerevan and were offered by the minister-head of government apparatus Vache Gabrielyan to meet with the premier.

The sides agreed the ecologists will submit an agenda of important issues and preferred format of discussion. The premier said the government is interested to discuss all the environmental issues. –0--
