Armenia’s ministry of education to ignore anonymous reports about corruption from now on

YEREVAN, December 20. /ARKA/. Armenia’s ministry of education and science will not be responding anonymous reports about corruption anymore, the minister of education of science Ashot Ashotyan told a press conference Friday.

“Either people should be civic-minded and should fight for their rights to the end or a “modernized” atmosphere of 30ies is created when decent people are discredited on any occasion”, Ashotyan said.

The minister said his agency is ready to follow up any case if there is concrete information who reports the case and who is blamed for corruption.

Ashotyan also noted corruption cases should be classified while being covered in mass media, and illegal money collection cases should not be confused with real corruption facts. –0--
