Armenia’s PM assures radars and cameras in Yerevan work properly, but pledges to gauge them

YEREVAN, October 4. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan assured the parliamentarians Wednesday that all the radars and cameras installed in Yerevan’s streets work properly.

At the same time, he instructed the responsible bodies to monitor their operation once again.

“The Police assured me that the radars and cameras work properly, and there is no risk in charging inappropriate fines as a result of some inaccuracies,” he noted.

Head of Armenian government also said civil organizations will be involved into discussions over the location of radars and cameras.
As of now, there are 15 speedometers in large streets and avenues of Yerevan, and 40 cameras on 10 large avenues of the capital. -0-
