Armenia's resident population continues to dwindle

As of January 31, 2021, Armenia's estimated resident population stood at 2,963,300 people, the National Statistical Committee (NS) said.
YEREVAN, May 7. /ARKA/. As of January 31, 2021, Armenia's estimated resident population stood at 2,963,300 people, the National Statistical Committee (NS) said.
It said the resident population, compared to the same period in 2020, decreased by 3,800 people. The number of the urban population as of January 1, 2021 stood at 1,895,600 people.
The population of the capital Yerevan stood at 1,091,700 people. In rural areas, the population stood at 1,067,700 people. -0-
