Armenia to receive 200 new ambulance cars from China

Levon Altunyan, Armenian healthcare minister, thanked China for providing 200 additional ambulance cars to Armenia as met with Chinese Ambassador to Armenia Tian Erlong on Thursday.
YEREVAN, December 2. /ARKA/. Levon Altunyan, Armenian healthcare minister, thanked China for providing 200 additional ambulance cars to Armenia as met with Chinese Ambassador to Armenia Tian Erlong on Thursday.
“Thanks to that, we will be able to solve all the problems of out country’s emergency medical service,” he is quoted in the healthcare ministry’s press release.
Altunyan rated highly cooperation between the two countries in healthcare area.
He expressed appreciation of the provision of 88 ambulance cars to Armenia by China in 2011 and re-trainings of Armenian doctors, pharmacist and medical workers in China.
At the ambassador’s request, the minister spoke on the planned healthcare reforms.
Erlong, on his side, said the Chinese side is ready to provide also consulting services to Armenia as assistance. --0---
