YEREVAN, August 1. /ARKA/. The amendments to the drug law that will be sent to the National Assembly’s floor soon imply elaboration of restraint mechanisms aimed at making social-significance drugs affordable in Armenia, Health Minister Armen Muradyan said Friday at a news conference while summarizing the results of his work done for 100 days in office.
There are some drugs in Armenia that are not available to certain social groups of people for their expensiveness.
At the same time, Muradyan said that it would be reasonable to avoid collision of interests and adverse impacts of the new law on development of the market.
He said the new bill will be put on the National Assembly’s floor in the nearest months, and the mentioned mechanisms will take force immediately after the bill passage..-0---
