Armenian labor migrants to enjoy equal rights with Belarusians and Kazakhstanis after ratification – head of Russian migration service
YEREVAN, May 23. /ARKA/. Armenian labor migrants will enjoy the same rights as citizens of Belarus and Kazakhstan, after the respective agreement is ratified by the parliaments of Russia and Armenia, head of Russia’s federal migration service Konstantin Romadanovskiy said in Yerevan Thursday.
This will take place before Armenia’s accession to the Customs Union is completed, he said not mentioning exact dates. Everything depends on Russian and Armenian lawmakers, he said.
The documents have been prepared and passed on to the Armenian side, head of the service said.
In responding the question whether ban on entering Russia for black-list citizens who violated duration of stay requirements will be lifted, Romadanovskiy said it is a separate issue and needs to be discussed with the Armenian side. He said he cannot comment on it now.
Yet, he said ‘the black list’ has not grown substantially since April when about 38,000 Armenian citizens were banned from entering Russia. –0—
