Armenian Ministry of Finance to provide more vehicle inspection coupons

YEREVAN, January 14. /ARKA/. Armenian ministry of finance is planning an additional allocation of technical vehicle inspection coupons for 2013 for those who failed to purchase them at the end of 2012, the press service of the ministry of finance reported.

According to the report, citizens can obtain the coupons in the period from 21 to 31 of January if they submit the required documents, including the zero property tax declaration for 2012.

The coupons will be provided through Bank VTB (Armenia), as it has a wide branch network throughout Armenia and is able to arrange the process. According to an agreement between the ministry of finance and the traffic police, no tickets will be issued against citizens who have no vehicle inspection coupons for 2013 before January 31, if they submit a zero property tax declaration for 2012. 

The ministry of finance says it provided a total of 601,000 coupons to commercial banks in 2011-2012, including 37,500 coupons for the year 2013 provided in 2011 and 310,406 coupons provided for 2013-2014 in 2012. Besides, there were more coupons issued in 2012 than the year before, the according to the ministry. The ministry gave a total of 36,950 coupons to commercial banks on December 5, 6, 11 and 14 alone. –0--
