YEREVAN, March 19. / ARKA /. The Armenian government decided on March 19 to changes the format of font letters and number plates used by traffic police to register vehicles. Under the decision number plates will have also the picture of the national flag of Armenia.
"The font letters and numbers on number plates will meet new international standards and will be more readable,” chief of police, Vladimir Gasparyan, said at a Thursday cabinet session.
According to the government's decision, the size of letters and numbers will be enlarged.
New number plates will be available only after all previously made number plates are distributed. -0-
