ArmRosgazprom extends validity term of “Campaign without prepayment” till 1 April 2013

YEREVAN, October 2. /ARKA/. ArmRosgazprom company reported Tuesday it had extended the effective period of “Campaign without prepayment” till April 1, 2013.

According to the source, those citizens who will have applied for gasification by April 1, 2013, will endorse the contract on subscribing to the gas distribution network and will pay 80% of the amount necessary for carrying out construction and mounting works. Furthermore, these citizens will get exemption of 40,000 AMD prepayment.

As of August 1, 2012, some 630, 977 customers have already subscribed to the gas distribution system. Within the first seven months of this year the number of ArmRosgazprom subscribers increased by 5,266, of them by 973 only in July, recording the highest jump within the seven months.

ArmRosgazprom is the only company dealing with import and distribution of Russian natural gas coming to Armenia from Russia via Georgia. It was established in 1997. Russian Gazprom and Armenia’s government are its shareholders. -0-
