Average monthly nominal wages 149,700 drams in Armenia in August: ArmStat
YEREVAN, October 2. /ARKA/. According to preliminary projections, average monthly nominal wages was 149,725 drams ($368 or 12,143 rubles) in Armenia in August this year, a 5% reduction fr om the July level, ArmStat reported.
In July average monthly nominal wages was 157,651 drams in the country, an increase of 7% against June and a 5.5% increase from May 2012.
The highest average monthly nominal wages was recorded in Siunik region in July – over 200,400 drams and the lowest pay jobs were in Aragatsotn region – about 111,000 drams.
Average monthly nominal wages in Yerevan was over 174,387 drams.
The highest salaries in the period were recorded in financial and insurance sectors – about 393,700 drams, in mining industry – about 328,600 drams, in information and communication fields – 327,700 drams.
The lowest pay fields in July were culture and recreation wh ere salaries were over 86,900 drams, agriculture, forestry and fishery – 98,800 drams and services sector – 104,100 drams. ($1=405.34drams). –0--
