Average monthly nominal wages 155,008 drams in Armenia in July: Armstat
YEREVAN, September 3. / ARKA /. According to preliminary projections, average monthly nominal wages was 155,008 drams ($377 or 12,351 rubles) in Armenia in July this year, a 5.2% increase against the June level, ArmStat reported.
In June average monthly nominal wages was 147,257 drams in the country, a reduction of 0.09% against May and a 4.3% increase fr om June 2012.
The highest average monthly nominal wages was recorded in Siunik region in June – over 235,200 drams and the lowest pay jobs were in Aragatsotn region – about 101,500 drams.
Average monthly nominal wages in Yerevan was over 157,903 drams.
The highest salaries in the period were recorded in mining industry – about 434,300 drams, in financial and insurance fields – about 341,800 drams and in information and communication – 309,500 drams.
The lowest pay fields in June were culture and recreation wh ere salaries were over 87,200 drams, services sector – 97,600 drams, agriculture, forestry and fishery – 98,400 drams. ($1=406.76drams). N.V. –0--
