YEREVAN, October 29. /ARKA/. The draft law about remuneration of civil servants is logical, member of the Republican Party of Armenia Artak Davtyan said.
The draft law was submitted for the parliament’s discussion by the Armenian government
The problem is rather essential than just a matter of raising salaries of parliament deputies, Davtyan told a press conference.
According to the deputy, the initiative is aiming at creation of a common system and has positive impact of wage formation.
Under the draft law, wage coefficient is 20 for president, 18 for speaker and prime-minister, 12 for ministers and 10 for members of parliament. The coefficient will be multiplied by the basic rate that is fixed in the budget every year. The wage rate is about 66,000 drams (about $163) under the 2014 draft budget. –0--
