Ena organizes special event to mark Children’s Day

Russian-owned Electrical Networks of Armenia (ENA) power distributor organized a special event in Yerevan today to mark the International Children's Day. The children participated in various activities and games.
YEREVAN, June 1. / ARKA /. Russian-owned Electrical Networks of Armenia (ENA) power distributor organized a special event in Yerevan today to mark the International Children's Day. The children participated in various activities and games.
"For 10 years, we have been organizing such events and I do not think we will abandon this tradition,’ ENA first deputy CEO, Vladimir Sazonov, was quoted as saying in a press release.
He said the company has been supporting children homes in Vanadzor and St. Teresa orphanage in Spitak for ten years already, providing their inmates with various gifts or money.
Sazonov said the company is also planning to organize special events for children to be timed with the start of schooling year and the traditional Christmas event for children in orphanages.
He also said ENA experts will conduct special safety classes in all schools across the country and will tell also about the sources and ways of generating electricity.
The Electrical Networks of Armenia is a 100% subsidiary of Russian JSC INTER RAO UES. It has an exclusive license for the transmission and distribution of electricity to about 950,000 individual and corporate customers.-0-
