EU to provide €15.2 million to Armenia for reformation of secondary vocational education system

YEREVAN, October 12. /ARKA/. The European Union will provide €15.2 million to Armenia for reformation of the country’s secondary vocational education system, Head of EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Piotr Switalski told journalists on Wednesday. 

In his words, the key aim of the program is to improve productivity of Armenia’s labor market and enhance employment rate in the country.  

In particular, special attention will be paid to employment in the agriculture sector.  

It is necessary, he said, to take some steps to develop young people’s skills.

Switalski is convinced that this will allow them to get better and permanent jobs and to be prepared better for doing their own businesses. ---0---
