Former head of Armenian railways dies at 61

Former chief executive manager of Armenian Railways, Ararat Khrimian< has died today, the South Caucasus Railways, operating Armenian railroads, said. It said Mr. Khrimian was 61 and was seriously ill for a long time.
YEREVAN, September 13. / ARKA /. Former chief executive manager of Armenian Railways, Ararat Khrimian< has died today, the South Caucasus Railways, operating Armenian railroads, said. It said Mr. Khrimian was 61 and was seriously ill for a long time.
"The staff and the management of the South Caucasian Railways express their sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased", the Russian-run company said.
Ararat Khrimyan was born in 1951, in Akhalkalaki, Georgia.
Armenian Railways was handed over to the South Caucasus Railways on February 13, 2008 for 30-year concession management with a right to prolong the management term for other 10 years. -0-
