Georgian military road closed due to snowfall
YEREVAN, March 4. /ARKA/. Russian EMERCOM (Emergency Situations Ministry) Division for North Ossetia closed early today the Georgian Military road for traffic due to the snowfall.
The decision was reached upon Georgian side’s request, spokeswoman for Emergency Situations Ministry Yulia Starchenko reported Russia’s RIA Novosti today.
Thus, Upper Lars checkpoint between Russia and Georgia is closed.
“The road will be closed until the further order of the Emergency Situations Division,” she said. -0-
