Joint projects with France help increase welfare of Armenian citizens
YEREVAN, May 14. /ARKA/. Armenia-France joint projects in medicine and healthcare contribute to welfare of Armenian citizens, Armenian minister of healthcare Armen Muradyan said.
The minister pointed to serious achievements in combating infectious diseased and reduction in mortality rate for these diseases.
This has been possibly only after an immunization program was introduced and French immunization drugs were widely used, Muradyan said at a meeting in the framework of the Armenian-French economic forum Tuesday.
Apart from this, there is a successful Armenian-French cardiology center in Yerevan and Armenian doctors go for training to France.
According to the minister, France is known for high standard of pharmaceutical companies products of which are demanded in Armenia. This opens up opportunities for joint activities, the minister said.
Armenian-French economic forum was held in Yerevan in the framework of French president Francois Hollande’s visit to Armenia. –0--
