Karabakh government discuss water supply prospects

STEPANAKERT, January 13. /ARKA/. The government of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) discussed opportunities for increasing efficiency of water supply operations in regions at its meeting presided over by NKR’s premier Ara Harutiunyan, the government press office reported.

The vice-premier and heads of regional administrations reported on progress in the field.

The aim of the discussion was to ensure high-quality water supply services to population and prompt response to breakdowns.

The head of the government said tariffs for irrigation water in drinking water mains to private houses should be different from those for drinking water and instructed the respective staff to consider the issue and submit proposals.

The government meeting was attended by head of NKR government administration Levon Grigoryan and other officials from involved agencies. –0--
