Kids from Armenian border village to spend their vacation at South Caucasus Railway’s summer camp

YEREVAN, August 19. /ARKA/.  The South Caucasus Railway (SCR) provided an opportunity to 24 children (7-14-years-old) from Chinari border village to spend their summer vacation in its Gugark camp, the press office of the company reported. 

Special events, including competitions and training courses will be held during 16 days for the kids to help them relieve stress from Azeri shelling at the village.

The trade union of the company will pay all costs as part of the summer vacation program for railroaders’ children, pupils of SCR-sponsored school and kids from poor families, according to the report.

South Caucasus Railway, a subsidiary of Russian Railways, runs Armenian Railway, which was handed over to the South Caucasus Railway on February 13, 2008 for 30-year concession management with a right to prolong the management term for other 10 years. --0---
