YEREVAN, March 18. / ARKA /. Armenia’s education and science minister Armen Ashotyan conceded today that the State Engineering University of Armenia (SEUA) may reunify with the Yerevan State University of Architecture and Construction ( YSUAC ).
The minister argued that the merger would result in a more powerful, advanced and competitive higher education.
"SEUA and YSUAC are destined to be together. The reasons that were cited in the past to divide the then SEUA (Polytechnic) into two parts do note exist any longer,’ he said.
The minister’s remarks came after he introduced the new rector of SEUA Hovhannes Tokmajian, who has replaced today former rector Ara Avetisyan.-0-
