The new tariffs for gas and electricity came into effect in Armenia on Sunday, July 7th.
YEREVAN, July 9. /АРКА/. The new tariffs for gas and electricity came into effect in Armenia on Sunday, July 7th.
On June 7, Armenian’s public services regulatory commission approved the new price for gas for customers with monthly consumption of up to 10,000 cubic meters – 156,000 drams per every 1,000 cubic meters (including VAT), as compared to the previous 132,000 drams.
ArmRosgasprom CJSC enjoys the sole right for importing and distributing Russian natural gas in Armenia. Russia conveys its gas to Armenia through Georgia. The company was established in 1997.
The new electricity tariff is 38 drams (including VAT) per kilowatthour for daytime (instead of the previous 30 drams) and 28 drams (including VAT) per kilowatthour at nights (compared to the previous 25 drams).
Electrical Networks of Armenia (ENA) owns and manages Armenia’s medium and low voltage networks. It is also the exclusive seller of electrical power in Armenia, and is owned fully by Russian Inter RAO UES. It has some 950,000 consumers. . ($1=411.76drams).–0--
