Over 100,000 immovable property transactions registered in Armenia in Jan-June 2014

YEREVAN, July 30. /ARKA/. Some 100,222 immovable property transactions were registered in Armenia in Jan-June 2014 – a 14.3% year-on-year growth, Armenia’s State Real Estate Cadastre reports. 

The largest number of transactions was registered in Yerevan – 33.4% of the total number and the smallest number in Vayots Dzor province – 1.8%. 

Kotayk province accounted for 14.6% of total number, Armavir for 9.3%, Ararat for 8.3%, Lori for 7.2%, Gegharkunik for 6.4%, Shirak for 5.5%, Aragatsotn for 5.3%, Syunik for 4.5% and Tavush for 3.7%. 

According to the cadastre’s report, immovable property alienation transactions made up 24.7% of the total number, primary registrations 10.6%, heritage registrations 9.8%, mortgage transactions 12.1%, property leasing transactions 4.1% and other registrations 38.7%.

No real estate privatization deals were recorded in Armenia in the first half of this year. -0----
