YEREVAN, January 29. / ARKA /. ‘We expect the amount of paid medical services in 2013 to surge by 24.5 percent from the previous year,” health minister Derenik Dumanyan told a news conference today. He said the final data will be available only in February.
Citing data for 10 months of 2013, Dumanyan said the revenue generated by paid services increased by 32.1 % compared to the same period in 2012 , amounting to over 25.6 billion drams.
He said medical institutions of Yerevan reported a 33.1% rise of revenue from the year before (over 23.1 billion drams), and those in provinces reported a 24.1% growth (more than 2.5 billion drams) . ($ 1 - 408.48 drams). -0-
