Rector of Yerevan institute of theater and cinema dies

YEREVAN, January 8. / ARKA /. A well-known Armenian theater director Armen Mazmanyan, who was also rector of Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinema, died Wednesday at St. Gregory the Illuminator medical center in Yerevan.

An official of the center said Mazmanyan died of a liver disease. The government of Armenia allocated last month 10,000 euros for Mazmanyan’s treatment abroad. 

Armen Mazmanyan was born in 1960. He was a participant of the Nagorno-Karabakh war. -0-
