Refugees from azerbaijan may apply for housing in Armenia until 2014
YEREVAN, September 7. /ARKA/. Armenian National Assembly may prolong the deadline for Armenian refugees who fled their homes in Azerbaijan in 1988-1992, to submit housing applications, the National Assembly’s press office reported on Thursday.
The parliamentary committee on social affairs has already discussed the matter.
Amendments to the relating law imply prolongation until December 31, 2013.
According to Armenian Migration Agency’s figures, more than 360,000 refugees came to Armenia from Azerbaijan over a period between 1988 and 1992, and other 140,000 migrated to other CIS countries. M.V.-0---
