YEREVAN, July 1./ARKA/. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan re-appointed Robert Nazaryan as a chief of Public Services Regulatory Commission for another 5 years, the president’s press office reported Monday.

Public Services Regulatory Commission regulates energy, water economy, electronic communications of Armenia.
Robert Nazaryan (born in 1956) started working at Yerevan house-building plant as an artisan and got promoted to the director of the plant. Holding different positions at Yerevan executive committee and Yerevan Municipality, Nazaryan was a deputy energy minister from 1997 to 2000, minister of transport and communications (2000), first deputy energy minister (2000).
From 2001 to 2003, Nazaryan was Yerevan Mayor, since 2003- chairman of the Public Services Regulatory Commission. Nazaryan is a laureate of USSR state award. —0-
