YEREVAN, July 9. /ARKA/. The South Caucasus Railway will re-start its Hrazdan-Almast-Shorzha (Tsovagiugh) summer trips as from July 10. The inter-urban electric train travels everyday apart from Wednesdays, the press office of the company reported.

The train departs from Hrazdan at 6:45 and arrives at Almast station, Yerevan, at 8:10. Departure from Almast toward Sevan is at 08:30. The train arrived in Tsovagiugh at 10:50 and at Shorzha at 11:28.

The opposite direction departures are at 17:00 from Shorzha, at 17:37 from Tsovagiugh. The train arrives in Yerevan at 20:00 and in Hrazdan at 21:42.

The electric train will travel to Tsovagiugh on working days and up to Shorzha on weekends.

The company re-launches its Hrazdan-Almast-Shorzha (Tsovagiugh) train trips every summer to create more comfortable conditions for vacationers and to relieve motor road traffic toward Sevan Lake in summer time.

South Caucasus Railway, a subsidiary of Russian Railways, runs Armenian Railway, which was handed over to the South Caucasus Railway on February 13, 2008 for 30-year concession management with a right to prolong the management term for other ten years. –0--
