The Fifth Russia Armenia Expo-2012 will be held October 24-26 in Yerevan

YEREVAN, October 15. / ARKA /. The fifth Russian-Armenian industrial exhibition "EXPO-RUSSIA ARMENIA 2012" will be held October 24-26 in Yerevan at the Government House, the organizing committee of the event told Novosti-Armenia news agency.

"The fair will feature the leading Russian and Armenian companies, which will present their innovative achievements in the field of energy, engineering, metallurgy, construction, transport, telecommunications, insurance, agriculture, medicine, education, and mining ," it said in a statement. 

It also said the number of participants is growing every year. This year more than one hundred industrial enterprises from 35 regions of Russia and Armenia will showcase their achievements, it said.

The event will be held under the official patronage of the Russian Chamber of Commerce, with the support of the State Duma (parliament’s low chamber), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and several ministries of Russia, as well as the government, the National Assembly of Armenia, the Trade Representation of Russia in Armenia and Armenian trade representation in Russian and the business communities of both countries.

"The high status of the exhibition was confirmed by repeated participation in its opening ceremony of the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan,. We believe that a regional exhibition can be a great opportunity for Russian and foreign companies to expand into new markets, " the statement says. -0-
